Kabul : At least 10 policemen and a child were
killed Sunday in a powerful car bombing in Afghanistan, an
official said.
The incident took place around 8.30 a.m. in Lashkar Gah,
capital of Helmand province, 555 km south of capital Kabul,
Xinhua reported.
Daud Ahmadi, spokesman for the provincial government said 12
more people, including nine policemen and three civilians,
were wounded in the attack near the provincial police
department.
The blast also damaged several police vehicles and nearby
government agency buildings. |
